How often can I use Root Cover Up?
You can use our Root Cover Up products to conceal grays and/or new regrowth as often as it appears. Work gradually, using small amounts (of product) and apply more if and as it's needed.
Can I use Root Cover Up if I don’t have any Grays?
Yes. Contrary to popular belief, root concealers aren’t just for hiding gray roots. They are uniquely adaptable products that offer more, while allowing you to do less. How long does Root Cover Up last?
The Gray Away Collection is formulated to last up to 24hours or until you shampoo it out.
Should I use Root Cover Up on wet or dry hair?
For best results, apply Gray Away to clean, dry/styled hair.
Do you test on animals?
Gray Away is certified and acknowledged by organizations, such as Leaping Bunny, as a cruelty-free brand. We are committed to producing 100% cruelty-free products. We do not test any of our products on animals.
Are your products ammonia-free?
The product is free of ammonia, peroxide, synthetic dyes, sulfates & parabens.
Can I use Root Cover Up on chemically relaxed or permed hair?
Yes, Gray Away is perfectly suitable for all chemically-treated hair.
Can I use styling products with The Gray Away Collection?
Our Root Cover Up products should be the last step in your hair styling routine. You can use your regular styling products on wet hair prior to applying Gray Away. Once you have finished styling (and your hair is fully dry), cover any visible grays, root regrowth and more!
What happens if I get Root Cover Up on my skin?
If the product comes into contact with your skin, remove quickly with a damp cloth. If you apply too much on the hairline, wipe with a damp cloth and begin again.
